The Salt Box is located in the heart of Marhamchurch, a quintessentially-Cornish village near the coastal town of Bude.

A stone’s throw away from the cottage you’ll find the community shop, church, and village facilities, while the surrounding lanes and footpaths offer easy countryside walks to the coast, canal, or into the rural surrounds. The Revel Field, in the centre of the village, is a well-equipped recreational area.

The Bullers Arms pub is a two minute walk away. For larger supermarkets, restaurants, a glass of wine or an award-winning Cornish pasty, Bude town centre is less than 10 minutes by car, offering access to everything you might need over the duration of your stay.

Widemouth Bay, Summerleaze and Crooklet’s beaches are all RNLI-lifeguarded for keen surfers and swimmers alike, and for the braver visitors, Bude’s iconic Sea Pool is open year round.
